Carol Bentz works in the Accounting Department and has been with the Company for over 35 years. She started working at Ideal part-time while she was still in high school and has seen many changes over the years. Her husband Dennis works at Fleetwood and they enjoy golfing and going to stock car races.
Kevan Biggs is the President and CEO of Ideal Suburban Homes. Since graduating from college in 1996, Kevan has been intimately involved in all aspects of the business. He learned the ins and outs of the business by working side-by-side with his father on a daily basis. On January 15, 2004, Kevan assumed the position of CEO of Ideal Suburban Homes and took over full management of the Company. On October 1, 2006, Kevan purchased a majority interest in the Company. Ralph Biggs (Kevan's father) quietly built on a business that was originally founded on strong values and good moral judgment by his father-in-law, Clark Smith. Kevan operates the Company today with those same founding values.
Paul Conrad is our Director of Estimating and Purchasing. Paul has been in residential construction since 1986 working his way up from framing to field superintendent. In 2005 he joined the Ideal team as a Field Superintendent. In the fall of 2009 he moved into the Director of Estimating and Purchasing position. In this capacity he works closely with the sales team on building our clients dream homes and also works closely with our suppliers to keep Ideal up-to-date on the latest trends, items, and technology in home building.
Kim Davis is the Director of Sales for Ideal Suburban Homes. She has been involved with sales for over 20 years and joined the Company in 2005. She assists the realtors in helping with prospective clients to achieve their dream of owning and/or building their own home. Kim works closely with the realtors, construction department, lenders, and title companies to make sure every transaction goes smoothly.
Cheryl Grant works in the construction department as the Construction Office Coordinator. Cheryl has 20 years of housing experience and joined the Ideal Suburban Homes team in July, 2012. She works directly with the Director of Construction to ensure the construction process works efficiently and to provide our new homeowners with the best customer service possible. Cheryl also works with the Director of Sales and the Director of Purchasing to ensure every home is exactly as the buyer requests it.
Jeff Gregg joined the Ideal team in 2014 as a Field Superintendent. He has a combined experience of 28 years in the construction industry; 21 years residential and 7 years commercial. Jeff takes pride in all of his work and goes above and beyond to make sure that his customers are completely satisfied. Jeff married his wife, Lori, in 1989. He has three daughters, Brianna, Kaila, Siera, and one grandson, Kreed.
Michele Hiegel is Ideal's New Home Specialist. She works with home buyers in making their new home selections and also provides assistance to the Director of Sales. Michele has been with our team since April 2014 and has a Bachelor of Art Education degree from Ohio State University. She has over 20 years of art and public relations/marketing experience. Michele resides in Van Wert, Ohio, with her husband, Mark.
Jack Johnson is the Director of Construction. Jack began employment with Ideal Suburban Homes in 1999 in the position of Field Superintendent. In 2007, Jack accepted the position of Residential Construction Manager with the responsibilities of coordinating and planning single family and multi-family residential construction. In 2011, Jack accepted the position of Director of Construction Operations with the additional responsibilities of subdivision development and commercial construction project management.
Connie Kreigh has been employed by Ideal Suburban Homes, part time, since February, 2000 as the Receptionist. Connie answers phones, handles the mail, HOA payments and also works on special projects as needed. Connie enjoys these day to day activities, but especially enjoys the contact with co-workers and cleients. She has been married to her husband, Steve, for 49 years and they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. She is an avid reader of fiction, loves to watch sports (Go IU!) and never misses any of her grandchildren's activities.
Jason Lockwood is one of Ideal's Field Superintendents. Jason has been involved with the residential construction industry since 1992 starting out as an assistant Field Superintendent and working his way up to Field Superintendent. Jason strives to build each home as if he were building it for himself - making sure to 'build trust and quality' in each and every home he oversees.
Kristi Miller is in our Accounting Department and joined the Ideal team over 20 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, Dylan and Derek.
Matthew Scott joined the Ideal team in early 2015 as a Superintendant Assistant. In late 2016 he was promoted to the position of Field Superintendent. Matthew also attends Ivy Tech where he is in his last semester of obtaining his A.A.S. in Constructin Management. His construction experience is growing everyday between work and college. When Matthew isn't working or at school he enjoys bringing old things back to life and hanging out with family and friends.
Skip Smalling joined the Ideal Suburban Homes team in November of 2016 working in estimating and purchasing. Skip has been in the residential construction business for over 22 years and works closely with the Construction and Sales team to help make your home building experience a success. In his spare time he enjoys playing softball and going on mission trips. Skip married his wife, Pam, in 1985 and has three children, Brett, Brittany and Becca.
