Ideal Builders Symposium: Strengthening Partnerships for a Brighter Future

Ideal Builders recently hosted a multi-day symposium for our sub-contractors and partners, aiming to better align and provide cohesive service to our home building clients. The event was a great success, bringing together trades from various sectors to discuss the impact of their work on the overall home building process and ultimately, the client.

Kevan Biggs, our President and CEO, kicked off the symposium with an insightful overview of the company and the global economic climate affecting the trades involved in home building. He highlighted how these factors influence final pricing for clients and emphasized that the quality of work from every trade present is a direct reflection of the standards we uphold in every home we build. Kevan expressed his gratitude, stating, "I want to say thank you to everyone in this room for helping us be successful."

A significant focus of the symposium was on the interconnectedness of each trade's work and how it impacts the subsequent trades and the final product. We were delighted to welcome new partners and celebrate our longstanding relationships with vendors, some of which span decades.

The symposium also served as a micro-reflection of the economy, showcasing how homeowners' investments in our services support suppliers, vendors, skilled trades, and more. Ideal Builders takes pride in supporting family businesses and companies that have grown alongside us. Our brand's success is largely due to word-of-mouth referrals, a rarity in our industry, which speaks volumes about the quality of our work and the strength of our network.

In addition to our network of agents, the communities we've built over the years have garnered attention from city planners and town initiatives, leading to invitations to build new communities. This recognition is a testament to the quality and impact of our work.

We are also excited to announce that Ideal Builders is adopting emerging technology to improve productivity between the home office and those out in the field. This technology will enable better communication and efficiency, ensuring that all trades are aligned and informed throughout the building process. An added bonus is that we will be able to integrate homeowners into this technology through a mobile application, allowing them to be included in the build process and stay informed. We look forward to its ongoing implementation.

The symposium concluded with new friendships and a deeper understanding of everyone's roles in the "big picture." It was an engaging series that provided attendees with opportunities to solve common issues, become more efficient, and make quick corrections that benefit the trades to follow.
